Catherine A. Counts, RA - Vice President/Principal of Operations
Ms. Counts is responsible for the operations of the main office in Princeton, NJ. As Managing Principal her primary responsibility is to oversee production and staffing of projects, ensuring a high level of quality in design and construction. Catherine specializes in programming, space planning, interior and architectural design. She joined Johnson Jones in 1988.

George E. Jones, RA - Founding Principal
Founding Principal of Johnson Jones Architects, Mr. Jones is responsible for the overall operations. With over 30 years of experience as a practicing Architect and Planner, George has implemented major planning and building design projects within urban core areas. As Principal-In-Charge, he maintains involvement in projects throughout their duration, overseeing planning, design, production, scheduling and project budgets.

Laurence C. Johnson, Jr. , RA - Treasurer/Principal of Financial Operations
In addition to Mr. Johnson’s financial duties, he is in charge of the firm’s computer aided documentation systems.   Larry is able to marry a unique blend of analytical skills and diversity of architectural experience. These diverse abilities enable the firm to move projects efficiently through the office and effectively coordinate and manage the flow of technical information while providing a database of information to other team members; extending the firms offerings in areas of facility management, interior design, estimating and project construction. He joined the firm in 1988.

Oliver H. Franklin, Sr. , RA - NOMA, AIA- President/Principal/Director of Marketing / Designer
Recently returned to Johnson Jones from Chicago Mr. Franklin heads our Marketing Department as well as performing the duties of President and Design Director.  Oliver brings 25 years of Architectural experience in designing and managing various types of projects throughout the United States and abroad to the firm.  This breath of knowledge allows Oliver to lead Johnson Jones in attracting retail, government, corporate and private clients at all levels.  He initially joined the firm in 1983.
